She has been engaged for five years to Frederick - played by film director Fred Amata - when Sadiq suddenly enters her life: flirting with this understandingman, who also happens to be Frederick's friend, nearly drives Jemina out of her mind. Beautiful women, chic clothes, breathtaking costumes, caring and intelligent men who nonetheless sometimes neglect love for the sake of their career and who succumb blindly to the women's refined seduction ploys: these are elements that will usually guarantee the success of a film - and not only in Nollywood. However, in Lagos or Abuja, all of this seems very different from what one can encounter in Hollywood or Geneva. Letters to a Stranger is one of the four films of the "Project Nollywood", the first to have been cofinanced by a bank.

Und doch sieht das alles in Lagos und Abuja ganz anders aus als in Hollywood oder Genf.
