Luxor African Film Festival concluded its events on February 9 and announced the winning movies.



The award for the Fipresci in the long film competition goes to "Gazing at the Stars" movie directed by David Constantine from Mauritius.



The appreciation certificate for the students competition goes to "Where Does The Train Go"movie directed by Karam Nasr from Egypt.



The silver prize for the students film competition goes to "Wageb Mohsen" movie directed by Mazen Saleh from Egypt.



The appreciation certificate for the students competition goes to "Tea" movie directed by Ayman Sousa from Egypt.



The golden prize for the students film competition goes to "Kilo Gram" movie directed by Alaa Mansour from Egypt.



The golden prize from Ishabab goes to "Xale" movie directed by Moussa Sene Absa from Senegal.



The bronze award for the short film competition goes to "Dear award" movie directed Marwa Sharkawy from Egypt.



The silver award for the short film competition goes to "Zaffa" movie directed by Ahmed Samir from Egypt.



The golden award for the short film competition goes to "Dance On Crutches" movie directed by Yoro Niang from Senegal.



The silver award for the Diaspora competition goes to "Juwaa" movie directed by Nganji Mutiri from Belgium.



The Jury special mention for the Diaspora competition goes to "The Last Letter to Nasser" movie directed by Fayza Harby from Germany.


The golden award for the Diaspora competition goes to "Harka" movie directed by Lotfy Nathan from The United States of America.



The award of the best cinematic treatment for the long film competition goes to "Citizen Kwami" movie directed by Yuhi Amuli from Rwanda.



The bronze award for the long film competition goes to "Gazing at The Star"movie directed by David Constantine from Mauritius.



The silver award for the long film competition goes to "Le Taxi, Le Cinema Et Moi" movie directed by Salam Zampaligre from Burkina Faso and " Far From The Nile "directed by Sherif Elkatsha from Egypt
