Philippe Béziat has directed for the cinema Pelléas et Mélisande, le chant des aveugles in 2009, NOCES, Stravinski / Ramuz in 2011 and Traviata et nous documentaire-opérat telling the story of Jean François Sivadier's direction at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence 2011 (theatrical release in October 2012).

He has also directed numerous documentaries for television, including De mémoire d'orchestres, 2x43 minutes on the Orchestre National de France, 60 ans d'art lyrique à Aix-en-Provence, and Le phénomène Quatre Saisons tous in collaboration with Christian Labrande.

He collaborates in a privileged way with Marc Minkowski to whom he devotes five films: Les musiciens du Louvre - Paroles d'orchestre, Marc Minkowski rehearses La Belle Hélène, Pour Sainte-Cécile, Berlioz à Versailles and soon a Soirée Jacques Offenbach, as well as with Rinaldo Alessandrini for Vivaldi's Gloria, Rinaldo Alessandrini records the Brandenburg Concertos and very recently, a program for youth co-directed with gordon: Les Quatre Saisons d'Antoine.

On several occasions, he has recorded shows such as La Pietra del Paragone by Gioacchino Rossini or "Pop'pea", a rock opera after Monteverdi, in G.B. productions. Corsetti and Pierrick Sorin, Les contes d'Hoffman directed by Olivier Py, Pelléas et Mélisande and Le ring directed by Robert Wilson (but also in Antoine Gindt's "reduced" production: Ring Saga), or concerts, such as at the Verbier Festival.

Philippe Béziat is also the author of various short films, including Le JT Petit Opéra inspired by John Adams' Fearful Symmetries or Musica da camera based on the music of George Crumb.

His next feature film for the cinema, Indes Galantes, will be released in theaters on October 28, 2020. This documentary follows the meeting between director Clément Cogitore, choreographer Bintou Dembélé, and 30 dancers of hip-hop, krump, break and voguing... who together reinvent Jean-Philippe Rameau's baroque masterpiece, Les Indes Galantes, at the Opéra Bastille.
