Amr Gamal is an independent Yemeni theatre-maker and director. He founded the "Khaleej Aden" theatre company in the Yemeni city of Aden in 2005 to revive commercial theatre in Yemen after an eclipse of several years due to the 1994 civil war. In 2018, he signed his first fiction film "10 Days Before The Wedding", which won an award in Aden. This film is the first to be commercially released in Yemen in the last four decades.
