From Burkina Faso, Mr Prosper KOMPAORE is a personality that it is advisable to figure out on three dimensions: Man of theater, academic, administrator. Holder of a doctorate in theater studies (Paris III, Sorbonne), he is director and founder in 1984 of the theater workshop for development, then in 1988 the International Festival of theater for development (FITD). Since 1978, he has assured the management of more than twenty workshops of theater creations. Besides, man of literature, he is professor in university of Ouagadougou where he has occupied diverse responsibilities since 1977: Head of modern literature department (1979-1981); Studies manager in the higher school of human sciences (1981- 1983), etc. About the administrative plan, eventually, he has been: Director General of culture; manager of big events (FESPACO, Semaine Nationale de la Culture) ; director of Institut des peoples noirs. He is Knight of the National Order
