Klinit comes from a background in administration. Her interest in filmmaking began during a Yumi Piksa workshop at the University of Goroka in 2009. She later joined a team in 2010 on the set of the Kommuniti Tok Piksa project working as the Project Administrator and community liaison person.

Klinit also trained as an editor/director during this project. She continues that role in the Centre, including her administrative functions. Klinit is currently one of six women undergoing the Pawa Meri director's training program at the Centre, working on a biographical film on emerging leader Jennifer Baing of Markham in the Morobe Province.

She is excited about how fast the Centre is growing especially with capacity building for young PNG filmmakers as well as exposure to expatriate scholars.
